The Better Light Model 6000-HS is an improved version of our popular 6000 x 8000 pixel scan back. The 6000-HS is a high-value addition to any photography studio or department doing digital capture. It's large file capability of 137 MB dlivers a 20" x 27" output at 300 ppi, plenty of pixels for most any commercial application and even for most art reproduction and archival projects.

Gaining an extra f-stop of speed from the more sensitive K-2 CCD, the 6000-HS has become one of the best values in digital capture equipment. 14-bit ADC (analog-todigital) converters are included to increase the number of tones by 400% for even smoother gradations and rendering of line work.

Additional features include: Eight resolution settings independent of ISO choice; the sensitivity range is 200 – 3200 ISO, adjustable in 1/10 f-stop increments; a dedicated hard drive for image storage; fast prescans generated in as little as 8 seconds; and Better Light’s highly-acclaimed ViewFinder™ camera control software.

Adapters are available for the Mamiya RB or RZ-67 and Fuji GX680 medium-format camera systems.

As with all Better Light scan backs, the Model 6000-HS is upgradeable to higher performance models at any time in the future.
